最近才剛收到一篇轉寄的文章，說台灣人如何的在美國大賣場"借"東西，或是如何的在日本"借"停車位，及在歐洲某國坐火車不用驗票是不是就不買票種種。自己在美國生活，完全可以體會文章裡提到的事件。話說我一直以為，只有亞洲人(沒錯，不是只有台灣人會貪這種小便宜)才會做這樣的事，但幾天前的事件實在讓我嘆為觀止。因為我住在離Manhattan較遠的地方，要去Manhattan需要搭火車(Long Island Railroad)比較方便，唯一的缺點就是票價貴了些，其他服務態度或通勤時間其實都比Subway還要好很多。我一向喜歡找靠窗的位置，那天上車前就由車窗外先相中了一個靠窗的位置，很開心的想要去那個位置坐下，一進車廂，發現一個女孩子，由最靠車門的一個沒窗戶的位置，移到了那個我想做的位置，oh well，我也沒多想，位置被佔走，就坐在他本來坐著的地方吧。過了一兩站，聽到了"喀喀喀"的剪票的聲音，

病厭厭。感冒持續了一個多禮拜，本來還慶幸，這次感冒很神奇，什麼症狀都很輕，微微的發燒，咽喉微微的不適，也沒什麼咳嗽，流鼻水，偶而來的狂打噴嚏，也沒有太常發生。莫名其妙賺到的星期六，不需要早起去跳舞，下午Amy的課也停掉一次，讓我很開心的睡到自然醒，練琴練到爽，整個星期六都是我自己的。可星期天一整天的課上下來，一早出門就感到涼意，下課後吃的小火鍋硬是點了個受強力推薦的藥膳鍋，晚上回到家已經開始覺得不妙。喉嚨乾乾啞啞，在床上翻來覆去的就是沒法入睡，折磨了一整夜，隔天又自以為硬撐去學校上了一整天的課，回家只想早早睡下，卻又是喉嚨痛的沒個好覺可睡，星期二起床聲音已經"分岔"了。喜歡趴趴走的我，又硬是跑到學校，去Ticket Central買雖然晚了還是第一個拿到票的A Chorus Line；去圖書館詢問我要的CD到底是來了沒，Multimedia Center 的Avery Fisher

開學以來，心情一直算是滿低落的尤其每上完一次Colloquy，就再次受到打擊說實話也並不嚴重只是說開心振奮也談不上總覺得自己心有餘而力不足Baer只會說機會多的是，只要你有目標，一定做得到我永遠也不懂我們年輕不懂事，光有理想抱負是有什麼用最終只有餓死一途終於這回的Colloquy來了David Schroeder咱爵士部門的Director真是說到我的心坎裡當初隻身從鳥不生蛋的Iowa偏遠小鎮來到紐約就憑著一股我要留下來的意念知道自己有幾兩重，對任何offer都說yes只要是想參與的活動或認識的人作牛作馬都願意其實很開心知道也有這樣的人存在他說就像國際學生一樣來到一個你完全無法掌控的地方可恨的"在地人"不用做什麼就如魚得水雖然我很想說，你一點也不懂外國人的辛苦可是，還是覺得有跟我一樣想法的人存在，而且是成功的感到很開心我真的覺得讓我去打雜我也願意呀只要，能讓我打進我想要的圈圈裡David

很愛吃又很愛煮的yyc又突發奇想想到一個自己覺得很讚的生活小妙方瓜仔肉是一道超下飯，可以放，很好買材料，又很容易料理的家常菜只要把材料調味全攪在一起，放到電鍋裡蒸就可以吃到香噴噴又好吃的家鄉味霸特，要把所有的材料拌在一起的時候還真是苦了我好吧，也許我笨，老覺得用筷子把所有東西拌勻是一件很痛苦的事要一直攪一直攪的，常常覺得虎口的地方都要抽筋了還是沒把東西拌勻今天又很開心的去買了絞肉回來完全無視於賣肉的又一大把的，把我要的肉抓到快要2磅一到家就開始切切切的，想著我這個禮拜就靠這盆肉啦終於把材料全準備好，要把肉加進去的時候嘿嘿，靈機一動反把材料全丟到裝絞肉的塑膠袋裡這樣，只要隔著塑膠袋，在外面用拳頭把肉垂來垂去推來推去的哇塞，效果可好的，三兩下顏色馬上均勻用不到幾分鐘的時間，就都好啦而且拌完，完全不用擔心筷子或手難洗完全不沾手呢，再來只要放著醒味就好囉全部很難清洗的東西，

今天忽然發現，我還滿想念Sophie的Sophie是一個學生是第一個讓我知道，也有放暑假就不補習的家庭所以從暑假以來，我少了一個可愛的學生她是個大孩子，所以特別的好教用中文或日文來說，應該就是所謂的"麻吉"吧用英文嘛，或者你可以說是"pal"因為比較大，比較懂事我從來就不需要罵她，或給她任何臉色而且一直都是很認真的跟著進度練習一個鐘頭的上課時間我們可以有進度，她也愛天南地北的跟我鬼扯我其他的學生，都是小小孩雖不至於到把屎把尿也總要連哄帶騙的，常常心裡氣的快瘋掉臉上還可以溫和的繼續上課老覺得總有一天會憋到內傷這下能了解上她課的這一個鐘頭對我來說是多麼的可貴了吧?今天又多了三個新的學生，來彌補暑假就不上課的小孩的缺跑來跑去，又要來適應新的學生雖然上課的時間其實並不長可是我要應付好多個小鬼頭所以，忽然好想念Sophie呀..... T_T隔了好久剛剛終於跟馬上就要回國的同學通了電話她是個韓國人
